Autodesk DWG TrueView is free multimedia software that allows users to view AutoCAD and other DWG files. Because DWV TrueView is a viewer only, you cannot use it to change the image. Once the files have been extracted, continue with the actual installation (once the Autodesk license and service agreement have been obtained). The installation took about five minutes. Installation instructions for this version are in English only, although other language versions are available. When the installation is complete, you can click Finish - the program will not open automatically. What is the purpose of DWV TrueView? DWG is a file extension used to design programs such as computer-aided design (CAD) software. DWG TrueView is primarily aimed at professionals who receive AutoCAD DWG or DXF drawing data but do not need to edit or prepare drawings. Architects, engineers, and construction professionals are likely to find the program useful. TrueView can be configured to open DWG and other compatible files automatically. Otherwise, opening files from the interface is very easy. After opening the file, a toolbar appears at the top of the interface, which divides the tools into different functions. Other Useful Enhancements You can enhance DWV TrueView features by adding Design Review, another Autodesk product. This add-on expands the feature set of the DWG viewer, allowing you to view, tag, print, and track changes to 2D and 3D files for free.
