With much to learn, but deeply shocked by the death of one of his students, Russ introduces the sport of lacrosse to his class in an effort to lift the dangerous fog of trauma found in his students. While the students were initially resilient, they will gradually learn about the sport, form Team Grizzlies, and find inspiration to make changes in their own lives.
