You want to make it easier and safer if you think you won't see another version of Internet Explorer in the next ice age, Microsoft will bring the world with the release of very new browser applications.

It's been a long time since web users have been waiting for Microsoft to update their technology and look elsewhere for Firefox.

Now, the evil king of the world sailor is not eager to watch his crown lord, but can he do enough to win his opponent?

To begin with, the new, streamlined interface is an upgrade.

Basically, Microsoft has pulled out the menu bar, hiding all the tools and features in a series of thumbnails, which are placed at the top of the interface smoothly.

It lets you view pages in a very large display area. IE has also finally decided to support tab browsing. It features a new tab that opens immediately, plus a smart Quick Tab button, which opens a thumbnail of all your open tabs in one screen and, unlike Firefox, IE 7 actually has a close button on each tab.

You can even save a tab set as your homepage until it starts at the beginning. We also appreciate the print preview tool, which adapts pages to your paper 7 to improve the way RSS integrates. Every time you find a site that supports RSS, the icon in the toolbar turns orange.

Click on it and you will be taken to a page that exposes all feeds to the site. Click subscribe to this feed link to add it to your favorites.

You can also subscribe by clicking the small star icon on the left. However, unlike Firefox, there is no drop-down list of all items in the feed.

Security is usually one of the special weaknesses of IE.

In addition to pop-up blockers, version 7 also features anti-phishing filters. To try it out, we have opened a popular phishing website published on Phishtank. Unfortunately, the filter does not report much. Phishing protection may not be the strength of IE 7s, but browsers contain at least SSL 2 security protocols.

Despite all the improvements, IE is far from perfect. Like Firefox, IE fails the Acid2 test and does not even support the latest standards.

We see IE drag and drop when opening a new tab, Tools section and applying new settings. You can add a large number of search bar providers and add-ons from Microsoft sites, but they are still significantly smaller than the Mozilla Firefox extension.
