Webcam Surveyor is webcam software that combines video surveillance and video recording tools. With this program, you can easily record videos, take photos or record sequences of images. Functions as a motion detector, software alerts are triggered by events: send an alert by email, upload images to the FTP site and capture all motion activities in AVI video format. This allows you to see from a distance what your camera is doing. The integrated file browser helps you organize the resulting images and videos. Webcam Surveyor supports video and audio codecs: MJpeg, DivX, Mpeg-4 and MPEG Layer 3 (MP3), WMAudio Encoder (WMA).
